.如果單詞 以s、sh、ch、x結尾的名詞，力口 es,
如：bus-buses公車）,class-classes^級）,watch-watches（^表）,box-boxes隔
子名詞變復數
.如果單詞 以s、sh、ch、x結尾的名詞，力口 es,
如：bus-buses公車）,class-classes^級）,watch-watches（^表）,box-boxes隔
子）,fox-foxes（狐貍）
.以y結尾的單詞，元音字母+y的，直接加s:例如：boys、babys如果單詞以 輔音字母+y結尾的名詞，把y改成i加es,如：family-families（家
庭）,strawberry-strawberries 津莓）story-stories做事）
.如果單詞以f或fe結尾的名詞，把f或fe改成v加es,
如：wife-wives, knife-knives
.如果單詞以”o"結尾：（1）有生命的，力口 es,如：potato-potatoes,tomato- tomatoes,hero-heroes這 三個詞的記憶口訣---"英雄 愛吃“土豆 和”西紅柿“）
（2）無生命的，加 s,如：photo-photos（照片）,radio-radios（收音機）
.將 3o"改為 ee"的名詞,如：tooth-teeth⑻）,foot-feet（腳）,goose-gees則）
.單復同形的名詞：fish-fish, sheep-sheep（帛羊）,paper-paper（氏），people- people（people續示民族”）
.不規則變化的名詞：
man-men, woman-women 記法--- 男人” 女人"將 a改 e)
變化口訣
（一）規則變化
延伸：policeman-policemen, policewoman-policewomen
名詞單數變復數，直接加 -s占多數；
s, x, z, ch, sh來結尾，直接加上 -es;
詞尾是f或fe,去掉f或fe再加上ves;
wife-wives,knife-knives,wolf-wolves leaf-leaves （ 妻子” 拿著 “小 刀”殺了 "狼）’
輔音+ y在詞尾，把y變i再加-es；
元音+y在詞尾，只加s就足夠
詞尾字母若是o,常用三個已足夠， 要力口 -es 請記女f, hero, tomato, potato。
